The Anglican Church of Good Shepherd

is a member of the Anglican Communion, a Fellowship within the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, consisting of those duly constituted Dioceses, Provinces and regional churches in communion with the See of Canterbury, upholding and propagating the historic Faith and Order as set forth in the Old and New Testaments and expressed in the Book of Common Prayer and under the authority of Bishop Jack Iker and The Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth.

Garden Blessing

statue in prayer garden_1On Sunday, September 18th, a celebration is planned to honor Father and Sara Smith’s ten years of ministry at Good Shepherd.

As a way of commemorating this special occasion, the parish has gifted the Smiths with a Mary Garden planted at their home. At 4pm on the 18th, the congregation is asked to gather at the new garden to participate in a blessing of the garden by Bishop Iker.
